Gabrielle Summer Tatum dies in fatal Eagle Lake murder-suicide
Fatal Eagle Lake murder-suicide death of Gabrielle Summer Tatum – Obituary
Gabrielle Summer Tatum, 28, lost her life in an apparent murder-suicide at Eagle Lake, allegedly carried out by Steven Junior Craft, 41, on the night of November 8, 2023.
According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace, Craft had a history of domestic violence, including prior incidents involving Tatum. On the night of the tragedy, Craft reportedly called a relative and stated his intent to kill Tatum before taking his own life. The relative immediately alerted authorities, prompting deputies to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers forced entry into the residence and discovered both individuals deceased from gunshot wounds. The firearm was found on the ground next to Craft.
Authorities continue to investigate the case as a murder-suicide.
