Danny ‘Scott’ Atwell, 51, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident on Dixie Highway in Louisville.
The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the 9000 block of Dixie Highway around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Initially dispatched for a reported shooting, officers discovered Atwell deceased and later determined he had been fatally hit by a vehicle rather than shot.
