Fatal Hwy. 23 crash death of James Arthur Wilton and Greg John Steil – Obituary
James Arthur Wilton, 52, from Fairchild, Wis., and Greg John Steil, 35, from Richmond, Minn., tragically passed away in a head-on collision on Highway 23 near Cold Spring, Minnesota, on February 25, 2025.
The crash occurred around 5 p.m. when Wilton was driving a Chevy SUV eastbound in the westbound lanes and collided with Steil’s Volkswagen SUV. Both drivers were killed on impact. The Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
