Ross Herrmann, 33, of Colorado Springs, tragically died in a crash on the night of February 10, 2025. He was driving when his vehicle veered off the road near the intersection of 21st Street and Uintah Street, striking several trees and crashing into a building. The impact ejected Herrmann from the car, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident revealed that Herrmann was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. This was the first traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2025. Authorities have noted that over the past year, there have been 46 traffic fatalities in the city.
