Fatal Colonie crash death of Jose Holguin – Obituary
Jose Holguin, 45, of Schenectady, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on Wolf Road Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m., when a Toyota Corolla, traveling northbound, crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a Honda Odyssey.
The driver of the Odyssey was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, while Holguin, the driver of the Corolla, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Colonie Police continue to investigate the crash, which led to a temporary closure of Wolf Road for about two hours. The identities of those involved were initially withheld until proper next of kin notifications were made.
