Fatal Jacksonville, Texas, shooting death of Angel Balderas – Obituary

Angel Balderas, 33, from Jacksonville, Texas, was fatally shot late Thursday night, February 13, following a traffic crash near the intersection of Myrtle Drive and Sam Boles Road.

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, Balderas was found with a gunshot wound and rushed to a nearby emergency room, where he was declared dead.

Authorities detained and questioned the shooter, but no charges have been filed at this time. The case remains under investigation.
