Jose Lopez Obituary, death; – A shooting incident in Springfield, Massachusetts, resulted in the death of a man on Wednesday, as reported by the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.
The District Attorney confirmed that the victim, 48-year-old Jose Lopez from Springfield, was discovered wounded on Fernwold Street following a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 4:35 p.m. He was transported to Baystate Medical Center for medical care but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.An investigation is currently being conducted by the DA’s office in conjunction with the Homicide Unit of the Springfield Police Detective Bureau.
