Fatal Raleigh parking deck shooting death of Damien Devon Smith – Obituary
Damien Devon Smith, 45, succumbed to injuries sustained during a shooting on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the parking deck located at 117 S. Wilmington Street. Smith was transported to a hospital with severe injuries but later died.
On Wednesday, Raleigh Police announced the arrest of 20-year-old Solomon Elijah Campbell, who has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
Authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the motive or circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
