Joshua Taylor, 19, a sophomore wrestler at Otterbein University, tragically passed away on January 2, 2025, from injuries sustained in a car crash in Licking County, Ohio. Taylor, who was on his way to work at the time, was remembered for his love of sports, family, and friends.

Taylor, a standout high school wrestler from Lakewood High School, earned over 100 wins during his four years on the team.

He continued his wrestling career at Otterbein University, where he posted a 13-9 record and was named “the most improved wrestler in 2024.” Memorial services are set to honor the life of this beloved athlete and student.
