German Portillo-Batres dies in fatal Ozark rest stop discovery
Fatal Ozark death of German Portillo-Batres – Obituary
59-year-old German Portillo-Batres from Richmond, Texas, was found dead at a rest stop access road off Interstate 40 near Ozark, Arkansas, on January 4.
A motorist discovered his body around 1:45 a.m. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) were called in by the Ozark Police Department to investigate the death.
His body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for further examination to determine the cause of death. While the investigation is ongoing, ASP has not yet confirmed whether foul play was involved.
