Two fugitives apprehended in Raleigh County during joint operation
CLEAR FORK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office has announced the successful apprehension of two fugitives, Douglas Butler and Ladonna Michelle Campos, following a coordinated operation led by the U.S. Marshal Task Force on May 12, 2025.
Sgt. W. Ramey, assigned to the task force, worked alongside officers from various law enforcement agencies across Southern West Virginia to locate and arrest the pair, who were wanted on multiple charges.
Sheriff Frank Priddy praised the efforts of the task force, highlighting their ongoing success in capturing fugitives and high-risk individuals.
Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton joined Sheriff Priddy in thanking the Marshal Service and all participating agencies, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency cooperation.
“This is another example of what we can accomplish when we work together,” Priddy stated.
Addressing those involved in criminal activity, Sheriff Priddy delivered a clear message: “We have zero tolerance for crime. With the support of the public, our local agencies, and the Marshal Task Force—we will find you.”
