Fatal Conway shooting death of Davorius Mack Jr. – Obituary
An 18-year-old identified as Davorius Mack Jr. was fatally shot in a violent incident on Lucas Bay Road in Conway, South Carolina, on March 2. Authorities reported that Mack was taken to a hospital after the shooting, but he did not survive his injuries.
Officials arrested 17-year-old Kaishen Willis at the scene and charged him with murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. According to arrest warrants, Willis allegedly attempted to rob Mack before shooting him. Witnesses reportedly saw the shooting occur.
Willis was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on March 4, where he remains in custody without bond. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
