Michael Shroat dies in fatal Union County car crash
Fatal Union County car crash death of Michael Shroat – Obituary
Michael Shroat, 55, lost his life in a crash at the intersection of State Route 347 and Lunda Road in Union County on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, Shroat was driving an SUV when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle in the intersection around 4:30 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
