Fatal Abbeville County car crash death of Elizabeth Brown – Obituary
Authorities have identified 38-year-old Elizabeth Brown of Greenville as the victim of a deadly crash in Abbeville County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 2:20 a.m. on Friday. A Dodge pickup truck was traveling north on Maddox Bridge Road near SC Highway 252 when it veered off the left side of the road and collided with a bridge.
Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Unfortunately, Brown, who was a passenger in the vehicle, did not survive the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
