Fatal San Antonio motorcycle crash death of Philip Jack Toomes – Obituary
Philip Jack Toomes, a 75-year-old motorcyclist, was killed in a tragic accident in San Antonio on Tuesday morning.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of Wetmore Road. Toomes was traveling southbound when a truck exiting private property collided with his motorcycle. Following the initial impact, the driver of the truck exited the vehicle to check on Toomes, who was trapped beneath his motorcycle. Moments later, a GMC Terrain struck the motorcycle and ran over Toomes.
Both drivers involved in the incident remained at the scene, and authorities have stated that no charges are expected to be filed. The investigation remains ongoing.
