Fatal Lipscomb shooting death of Marquese Janhari Webster – Obituary
An 18-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning in a double shooting in Lipscomb, Alabama.
Marquese Janhari Webster of Bessemer was identified as the victim. The shooting occurred at around 12:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of Crescent Avenue. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, deputies were dispatched to UAB Medical West Hospital in Bessemer after reports of two gunshot victims.
The woman who accompanied Webster to the hospital was reportedly driving him there when he succumbed to his injuries, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Details about the woman’s condition have not been released.
