Fatal Daviess County crash death of John Moore – Obituary
John “JD” Moore, a 17-year-old from Daviess County, tragically passed away in a single-vehicle accident on the morning of February 22, 2025.
Deputies and emergency responders arrived at the scene near County Road 1100 E, where they found his vehicle overturned and partially submerged in a stream.
The vehicle had veered off the road, struck a fence and guardrail, then rolled into a steep embankment before landing on its roof in the water. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
