Fatal Saginaw shooting death of Domonique C. Watson – Obituary
Domonique C. Watson, 33, was shot and killed inside her Saginaw home on the afternoon of February 26, 2025.
Authorities responded to a call around 1:30 p.m. at Watson’s residence on Maplewood Avenue. Inside, officers found Watson deceased from at least one gunshot wound. A 60-year-old man was also discovered at the scene with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he remains under medical care.
Investigators have classified the incident as domestic in nature. Police confirmed that Watson and the man shared children but were not married. The case remains under investigation.
Watson’s mother has created a GoFundMe to help with memorial expenses, raising over $1,500 as of Friday morning. Her death marks Saginaw’s fourth homicide of the year.
