Daniel Mansel, 45, tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run crash on February 24, 2025. The incident occurred around 7:57 a.m. on the 2600 Block of Marlin Highway in Waco. Officers found Mansel already deceased at the scene, and it was determined that the crash had not been reported to authorities at the time.
The suspect responsible for the fatal crash has not been identified or located. Authorities are actively seeking information from the public, and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for tips leading to an arrest. Waco Police Department’s Special Crimes Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
