Erica Mastropietro, a 41-year-old woman from Wilmington, Massachusetts, tragically passed away after a head-on collision on Route 62 on the evening of February 27, 2025.
The accident occurred around 9:09 p.m. when Mastropietro’s Lexus RX 330 crossed into the oncoming lane, colliding with a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling eastbound. The impact caused significant damage, and Mastropietro was rushed to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Jeep was also hospitalized, but their condition remains undisclosed. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
