Fatal Dillon County car crash death of Ann Hamer – Obituary
Ann Hamer, 71, lost her life in a tragic car crash in Dillon County on Wednesday evening.
The collision occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Pee Dee Church Road near Lester Road, about five miles from Dillon. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2010 Nissan Sentra veered into oncoming traffic, crashing into Hamer’s westbound 2009 Toyota Scion.
Hamer was pronounced dead at the scene, while another individual was transported to McLeod Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their current condition remains unknown.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
