Fatal North Side shooting death of Marco Antonio Corea – Obituary
Marco Antonio Corea, 46, was fatally shot on the North Side of San Antonio, with the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirming his death was caused by multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident, which occurred inside a drainage ditch opening, has been ruled a homicide.
San Antonio police were alerted early Monday morning when a friend of Corea found his body in the 1200 block of West Hildebrand. Shell casings were discovered at the scene, leading investigators to believe the shooting happened at that location.
No information regarding a suspect or suspects has been released. The SAPD Homicide Unit continues to investigate the case. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact law enforcement.
