Leslie Pearce, 64, tragically passed away following a car accident on December 19, 2024, in St Helens. The incident involved a red Ford Fiesta and a black Ford Transit towing a white box trailer on Burrows Lane.
While both drivers initially stopped at the scene and no serious injuries were reported, Pearce, the driver of the Ford Fiesta, presented himself to the hospital five days later on December 24.
He died the following day, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Pearce’s family has issued a heartfelt tribute, with his daughter describing him as “the best dad a girl could ever wish for.” The community is mourning the loss of a beloved father and family member.
