Fatal Iowa City death of Victoria Skarda – Obituary
Authorities have identified the individual who passed away on Monday in Iowa City as 33-year-old Victoria Skarda.
Her body was discovered in the 300 block of Camden Road, and officers were dispatched to the location around 9:19 a.m. in response to a reported medical incident.
The death is being treated as suspicious, and an investigation is currently underway. The Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined the cause of death.
Authorities are urging anyone with information or security footage from the area to contact the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-5275.
