Paul Connelly, 43, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle near North Tschirley Road and East Dalton Avenue in Spokane on Sunday. Connelly was reportedly crossing the street after making a delivery on the west side of Tschirley Road and returning to his parked Kia when the tragic incident occurred.

According to deputies, the driver, who was looking at Connelly’s parked car while passing by, unintentionally hit him. The Spokane Medical Examiner confirmed that Connelly’s death was caused by blunt force injuries.

Authorities have stated that impairment is not suspected, and the driver of the Subaru was released without facing charges. The investigation is ongoing, with no additional information available at this time.
