Eric Scott Little dies in fatal Sampson County crash
Fatal Sampson County crash death of Eric Scott Little – Obituary
Eric Scott Little, 30, of Coats, and Lauren Brittany Knuckles, 31, of Dudley, tragically lost their lives in a head-on collision on Highway 55 near Oak Grove Church Road on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. when Little’s Honda Accord crossed the center line and collided with Knuckles’ Kia Sorento.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. A 30-year-old passenger in the Honda, Ashley Morgan Walker, was seriously injured and transported to WakeMed, while a 3-year-old, Maddison Faith Knuckles, from Dudley, was also hospitalized by helicopter for her injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
