Fatal Lynnwood house fire death of Rama Sharma – Obituary

An 81-year-old woman, identified as Rama Sharma, died in a devastating house fire in Lynnwood on Sunday. The fire broke out around noon in the 17900 block of 33rd Place W, and by the time firefighters arrived, the house was nearly consumed by flames.

Access to the property was challenging due to the collapse of parts of the first floor. After about 20 minutes of battling the blaze, firefighters discovered Sharma’s body inside the home.

The cause of death remains under investigation. A man in his 90s was also evaluated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported. The home was completely destroyed.
