Marjorie B Smith Obituary, Death; – The identity of the 80-year-old woman who lost her life in a collision near Sturgis has been disclosed. Marjorie B. Smith, a resident of Custer, sustained fatal injuries in the incident that took place on December 10. The accident occurred on westbound I-90, close to mile marker 36, approximately four miles east of Sturgis.
According to law enforcement officials, a 77-year-old man operating the pickup truck lost control, causing the vehicle to veer into the median and roll over. Smith was a passenger in the truck. Both the driver and Smith were promptly transported to a medical facility. Smith succumbed to her injuries on December 16. The driver sustained serious injuries, which are not considered life-threatening
