Fatal Gentilly shooting deaths of Carmen Dent and Nathan Coleman – Obituary.

Carmen Dent, a 16-year-old boy, and Nathan Coleman, 23, lost their lives in a tragic quadruple shooting in the Milneburg neighborhood of Gentilly, New Orleans, on Sunday, December 15. The incident occurred around 7:11 p.m. near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Madrid Street.

 

Carmen Dent was pronounced dead at the scene, while Nathan Coleman succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Two other victims, a 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man, sustained injuries and were hospitalized.

 

Surveillance footage released by New Orleans police shows the suspect opening fire into a parking lot in the area. Authorities are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating the shooter as the investigation continues.
