Fatal Birmingham house fire death of Marion Leroy Springer – Obituary
Marion Leroy Springer, 74, has been identified as the man who died in a house fire in Birmingham on December 12, 2024.
Springer was one of two people found inside a burning home on the 5400 block of 5th Court South. He was rushed to UAB Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries on December 13 around 8:13 p.m., according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The condition of the other person found in the home remains unknown.
The Birmingham Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
