Fatal Stockton shooting death of BeJay Orth – Obituary

BeJay Orth, 53, was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting near the University of the Pacific in Stockton on Monday, December 16, 2024.

Officers from the Stockton Police Department responded to a shooting report around 2:10 p.m. on Princeton Avenue between Pershing and Grange avenues. Upon arrival, they found Orth suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The police have not released any details about potential suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
