Conner Young dies in fatal Millard County car crash
Fatal Millard County car crash death of Conner Young – Obituary
Conner Young, a 22-year-old Layton resident, lost his life in a multi-vehicle collision on northbound I-15 in Millard County on December 9. The crash, which also injured four others, occurred just south of Scipio before 8 a.m.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident began when a semitruck, hauling both a box and flatbed trailer, lost control on the icy roadway. The truck veered off the road to the right, colliding with a cable barrier. It then came to a stop with its trailers positioned sideways, blocking the highway.
Subsequently, three vehicles crashed into the immobilized semi, leading to one fatality and multiple minor injuries. Authorities confirmed that Young was the sole person who succumbed to injuries in the incident.
